Topaz is a nice stone. I have always wondered why diamonds seem to get all the glory. Aquamarine is my favorite, or maybe Emerald, I can't decide. ruby is nice too. Shoot, I sound fickle. I guess I like them all.

I've only seen Aquamarine in its polished form.
As for why Diamonds get all the glory it is most likely because they are so expensive.

Why do you think I chose Topaz? It is a nice stone and has many different colours but Saphire is my favorite.
